Georgia football vs. UMass final odds and a prediction
Georgia football is ready for their next test of the season as they welcome UMass to Sanford Stadium for their second to last game of the regular season. The Bulldogs are coming off their most important win of the season after beating Tennessee at home last weekend 31-17, but this game is just as important because a loss ends all hope of a national championship for Georgia this year.
As one would imagine, Georgia is a massive favorite in this game. UMass also shockingly fired their head coach earlier this week as well, which only makes life that much easier for Georgia in this game.
But how much does Vegas like Georgia in this game and will UGA be able to cover the massive spread set by the sportsbooks?
Georgia vs. UMass Final Odds
As of 5:00 am EST on Saturday, Nov. 23, Georgia is a 42.5 point favorite over UMass according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The over-under is set at 55.5 points as well. ESPN's Football Power Index also gives Georgia a 99 percent chance to win this game as well.
Georgia vs. UMass Prediction
This is the first game in awhile where it is obvious that Georgia will win this game and win it quite easily. So the real prediction is how many points will Georgia win by.
Georgia needs to earn as many style points as possible because they are still just the 11-seed in the College Football Playoff as of today. A close win against a team like UMass could put their chances of making the 12-team field in serious jeopardy. So it would be wise of Kirby Smart to not take his foot off the gas in this game.
That means this game will likely be a blowout, and one where UMass might struggle to put any points on the board.
Prediction: Georgia wins 52-3
