Georgia football vs. UMass game time, TV announced
Georgia football has hit the home stretch of their regular season as they have just three games remaining this year. The Bulldogs have their final SEC game this weekend against Tennessee, but it’s time to look beyond that game as the details for Georgia’s following game against UMass were released on Wednesday.
Georgia vs. UMass game time, TV announced
Georgia will take on UMass on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 12:45 pm EST. The game will be played at Sanford Stanford and televised on the SEC Network.
So far this season, Kirby Smart and Georgia have played just three games at Sanford Stadium, so they will surely be glad to back in front of their home crowd. In those three games, the Bulldogs are 3-0 with wins against Tennessee Tech, Auburn and Mississippi State. UGA also faces Tennessee this weekend at home, which will be a great test to see if they can stay undefeated at home.
UMass has played five road games so far this season, and they are 0-5 in those games. On the season, UMass is only 2-7, so it really is not a surprise seeing them lose every road game so far this year.
This game will be a nice change of pace for Georgia before their season finale against Georgia Tech and potential postseason run. Georgia should have no issues beating UMass, so it will be an opportunity to give their starters some more rest as well as giving some of the younger guys more in game reps.
But Georgia still has to get through Tennessee before they get to this “bye week.” That will be no easy task, but knowing that they have an easy game the following week should help Georgia give everything they’ve got to take down the Vols in front of their home crowd.
So hopefully Georgia does just that this Saturday, so everyone can take a quick breather in the week leading up to the UMass game.
