Georgia football is turning the page after their dominant 63-3 win over Tennessee State as they prepare to take on Western Kentucky in week two of the 2026 season. This should be another relatively easy game for Georgia to win, but that doesn't take anything away from the excitement Georgia fans will have to watch this matchup.

Kickoff between Georgia and Western Kentucky is scheduled for 12:45 pm EST on Saturday, Sept. 12. For the second week in a row Georgia will play in front of their home fans at Sanford Stadium in Athens, GA.
Last week fans could only watch Georgia on streaming services, but this week Georgia's game will be on the SEC Network. Fans can also stream the game on the ESPN app and Fubo TV.
Georgia vs Western Kentucky betting odds
Georgia is a 40.5 point favorite over Western Kentucky, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The over-under for this game is set at 55.5 points as well.
ESPN's matchup predictor is high on Georgia once again as they give the Bulldogs a 99 percent chance to win this game.
Georgia vs Western Kentucky predictions
Last week was the first time a Kirby Smart coached Georgia team ever covered a spread that was at least 38.5 points. Vegas is giving Georgia a chance to do it for a second time in as many weeks, but it won't be easy.
Western Kentucky is a step up in competition. Tennessee State was an FCS school which is one level below the FBS where Georgia and Western Kentucky preside, so that indicates what should be a more difficult matchup. Based on how week one's game went that shouldn't ultimately matter.
Gunner Stockton will once again bring his best game. He and the rest of the starters will play well enough where they won't have to play the entire game again, but they will play a bit longer than last week. This will mostly be due to Kirby Smart wanting them to keep their conditioning up before SEC play starts next week, but Stockton will throw two touchdown passes this week and will find the end zone with his legs twice as well.
Georgia's defense went without a turnover in their first game, so that will be an area they will look to improve on. The defense will force two turnovers total with the secondary coming up with an interception and the front seven forcing a fumble on a sack.
Georgia ultimately probably doesn't care how much they beat Western Kentucky by. They will want to win by a comfortable margin so they can rest their starters and get their backups more playing time, but as long as this game isn't close and Georgia avoids any serious injuries then that would probably be a win in Kirby Smart's book.
