Georgia football’s pursuit of Florida offensive tackle commit Tyler Chukuyem has been well documented. The Bulldogs want to steal him from Florida, and Chukuyem has shown some interest in listening to UGA’s recruiting pitch.
Georgia’s pursuit has now been taken to the next level as Chukuyem will reportedly take a visit to Georgia this fall for a game in Sanford Stadium.

Georgia already plotting their revenge against Florida
According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Chukuyem is the No. 246 overall player in the country. He also is the No. 21 offensive tackle in the 2026 recruiting class and the No. 30 player from the state of Georgia as well.
Chukuyem committed to Florida in mid-June and has been locked in with the Gators ever since. However, Georgia was not really involved in his recruitment yet when he committed to Florida, so the Bulldogs did not lose this battle initially to Florida.
Over the past few weeks Georgia has been in contact with Chukuyem, but they were yet to offer him a scholarship. That changed a few days ago, and the moment Chukuyem was offered by Georgia his interest in the UGA immediately increased. Chukuyem is so interested in Georgia that he is now already planning on attending a game this fall.
This news came at the perfect time because word came out on Tuesday night that Florida is going all out to flip four-star Georgia commit Justice Fitzpatrick. So the Bulldogs are giving the Gators a taste of their own medicine in Chukuyem's recruitment.
It is unlikely that Chukuyem will decommit from Florida anytime soon, but there is a real chance that could happen later this fall. Georgia appears to be the only other school recruiting him right now, so if Chukuyem is going to flip his commitment it more than likely will go in UGA's favor.
