Georgia football and Kirby Smart are working overtime on the recruiting trail right now as they look to position their 2026 recruiting class inside the top two for the fourth year in a row. One way Georgia can accomplish that is by flipping recruits who are already committed to other schools.
There are many players that are committed elsewhere that Georgia is taking a good hard look at, and two more names have recently surfaced that Georgia fans should be close attention to.
3-star CB Peyton Dyer
Three-star corner Peyton Dyer is the first player that Georgia is looking to flip from another school.

Dyer is a solid recruit from Duluth, GA who is the No. 377 overall player in the country according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He also is the No. 27 corner in the country and No. 42 player from the peach state.
Dyer originally announced his commitment to South Carolina in early November, but it appears his recruitment is not officially done just yet. He will be reportedly be taking an official visit to Athens later this summer which will give Smart and his staff an opportunity to sway him from the Gamecocks.
4-star WR Dyzier Carter
Four-star wide receiver Dyzier Carter is another player that Georgia is looking to flip on the recruiting trail.

According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Carter is the No. 148 overall player in the country. He also is the No. 5 player from his home state of Virginia and the No. 23 wide receiver in the 2026 class.
Carter has been committed to Rutgers since last July, but a recent offer from Georgia on Feb. 10 has reportedly caught his eye. He has not yet set up a visit to Athens, but it does sound like that is a real possibility at this time.
