The No. 1 running back in the country is Kemon Spell who used to be committed to Penn State. But after the Nittany Lions fired James Franklin he immediately decommitted and named Georgia one of his top schools.
Spell however had no intentions of committing anytime soon, but a new update has finally emerged that every Georgia fan needs to see.

Georgia may be losing ground with Kemon Spell
Rivals' Chad Simmons released a report on Saturday updating the status of Spell's recruitment. He mentioned that Penn State, Georgia, Miami and Notre Dame are his top four schools, but no other information was made public. But Rivals' Jed May shared a little more information that should excite Georgia fans.

May is a Georgia insider, so this comment made it seem like UGA may just be the team to beat in Spell's recruitment. While specific information in the article is behind a paywall, an update from 247Sports does give some more information.
The update from 247Sports however was not a good one for Georgia as a new crystall ball prediction was logged in favor of Penn State to win this recruitment. This update is a bit surprising because Spell didn't seem very interested in Penn State after Franklin was fired, but that may no longer be the case.
The good news for Georgia is that Spell is planning on taking an official visit to Athens at some point. So Kirby Smart and his staff will have a chance to sway him away from the Nittany Lions, but that may be tough to do. Spell is from the state of Pennsylvania, so at the end of the day it shouldn't be that surprising if he commits to Penn State again.
But for now Georiga still has a chance, and that is all they can ask for at this point.
