Georgia has yet another major official visit this weekend in Athens this past week and after some radio silence, things are starting to look up. After a commitment from three-star offensive lineman Zachary Lewis, Georgia could be hot on the trail for the nation's top running back prospect.

Five-star running back prospect Savion Hiter had an official visit with the Bulldogs in Athens this past weekend, and even though no commitment was announced, he did show off the visit on social media. Hitler made a post in Georgia gear thanking the university for welcoming his family and even said Georgia's tagline to make fans go crazy.

"How 'bout them dawgs," Hiter said in his social media post.

Hiter comes in as the No. 1 running back in the class of 2026 and the No. 1 player in the state of Virginia, as well as the No. 17 ranked player nationally. The Mineral, Virginia native is being looked at by a lot of top programs such as Tennessee, Ohio State, Michigan, and, of course, Georgia. Hiter went on his first official visit with Ohio State on May 30, and has two more scheduled after his one with Georgia, with Tennessee and Michigan.

It was reported that Hitler was between Michigan and Tennessee as his top two schools, but the young running back prospect came out on social media to say that he isn't narrowed down to any of the top four schools, but that he is simply just going on his official visits and will make his decision from there.

Georgia currently has 13 players committed to their 2026 recruiting class, and Hiter would be the Bulldogs' second 5-star commit and would really bolster the recruiting class that took a hit in On3's latest recruiting rankings. Georgia would love to add to their offense with Hiter in the coming seasons.
