Hot Rod is still Hot Rod, and he made that very clear today. With ESPN College GameDay in town for the No. 5 Ole Miss vs. No. 9 Georgia matchup, Bulldogs fans get to enjoy all the benefits of GameDay being in town.

One of the best segments that has become popular in the last two years, thanks to former NFL punter Pat McAfee joining the show, has been the kicking contest. This is a contest in which a student from the school where GameDay is being held is picked from a lottery system and gets the chance to kick a field goal to win money from McAfee.

This week, the guest picker for GameDay, award-winning singer Jelly Roll, was on site and was kicking a field goal to add more money to the charity pot. Jelly Roll has one kick for himself to get $300,000 for charity, but missed on his first attempt. As the crowd always does, they chanted for a second chance, and Jelly Roll had an ace up his sleeve.

For a double-or-nothing kick, Jelly Roll brought out Georgia legend Rodrigo Blankenship, who kicked for the Bulldogs from 2015 to 2019 before going to the NFL for a few years. Rodrigo was on the hook for a $600,000 kick for charity, and he absolutely nailed it.

Blankenship has had a rough go at his career as of late after being cut from the NFL and has since been kicking in the UFL. This could have been the kick Blankenship needed to show NFL teams he still has it.

Hot Rod's kick was perfect down the middle as he was repping the Georgia Bulldog jacket, but this time only had his glasses on instead of his patented sports goggles.
