Georgia predicted to complete comeback and take down Oregon, Michigan for 4-star LB

One of the top linebackers in the country is ready to announce his commitment. Four-star Nick Abrams is scheduled to announce his commitment on Wednesday, and according to the latest prediction from Rivals’ Steve Wiltfong, Abrams will be committing to Georgia football when he announces his final decision.

Abrams final four has been set for quite some time now, and his finalists include Georgia, Alabama, Michigan and Oregon. While all four programs are very respectable and a good school to play football for, it appears that Georgia is going to be the team to win out this recruitment.

Just a couple weeks ago it was reported that Oregon and Michigan were the two leaders in Abrams’ recruitment. Even though UGA was still a finalist for Abrams, nobody was giving Georgia much of a chance to win. That however changed a couple days ago when a new report came out stating that Georgia had passed Michigan and was in the lead in Abrams’ recruitment alongside the Oregon Ducks.

It is extremely important that Georgia holds on and wins this recruitment. The Bulldogs top linebacker target is five-star Tyler Atkinson, and he is scheduled to announce his commitment on Tuesday. Most assumed Georgia was the leader for Atkinson, but a new prediction was placed Monday night in favor of Texas to win that recruitment.

So assuming Atkinson does select the Longhorns, that means Georgia has to win Abrams’ recruitment so they still add an important piece to their linebacker room. Thankfully it appears Georgia is well on their way to accomplishing just that on Wednesday.

And who knows, maybe Atkinson will change his mind and pick Georgia still and the Bulldogs can walk away with commitments from two elite linebackers.
