FanDuel Sportsbook recently released their 2025 season win totals, and the Bulldogs line was set at 9.5 wins. Some Georgia football fans claimed this line is too low and that UGA should be able to hit the over next season. However, Kirby Smart and UGA once again face an extremely difficult schedule while also having to break in a new quarterback.

While Georgia fans debate this line for the Bulldogs, it’s also interesting to see what Vegas thinks of other schools heading into next year. Georgia fans will definitely be curious to see the win totals set for many other SEC schools, but there’s one non-conference school Georgia fans will be paying extra attention to next year.

Georgia predicted to have a better season than Miami

The biggest transfer portal news in the entire country so far this offseason was when former Georgia QB Carson Beck announced that he was transferring to Miami (FL). This move and this move alone will force Georgia fans to pay close attention to Miami next season to see how Beck and the Hurricanes do. And it probably goes without saying that most UGA fans will want the Bulldogs to have a better season than Miami.

There are a lot of ways to compare these teams next season. Their final ranking in the AP Poll, seed earned in the College Football Playoff and winning a National or Conference Championship are ways to know who has the better season next year. But the easiest way to compare these programs is who has more wins next year.

And according to FanDuel, Georgia will have one more win than Miami next season as the Hurricanes win total is set at 8.5.

Being in different conferences does make win totals more difficult to compare, but Georgia’s schedule will be more difficult, so if they end the season with more wins than no one can deny that they had the better season. And after seeing Beck ditch Georgia this offseason, Georgia fans would love to see that occur.
