Georgia football is fresh off some really good news on the recruiting trail. No, they unfortunately did not earn a commitment, but they got the next best thing from On3's Steve Wiltfong who is one of the most respected recruiting insiders in the country.

On Thursday afternoon, Wiltfong logged an official prediction for UGA to win the recruitment for four-star ATH Ryan Mosley. Mosley is one of the top players from the state of Georgia, so the fact that they are the clear leader for a sought after in-state target is a big deal.

But in the same social media post where Wiltfong shared this good news, he also shared that a talented offensive tackle Georgia has shown interest in is unfortunately trending to a rival in the SEC.

4-star OT Felix Ojo

Felix Ojo is a four-star offensive tackle from Mansfield, TX. According to the On3 Industry Rankings, Ojo is the No. 5 tackle in the country. He also is the No. 8 player from Texas and the No. 46 overall player in the country.

Ojo's ranking shows just how big this recruitment would have been for Georgia to win, but Wiltfong unfortunately predicted him to stick with the in-state Texas Longhorns. This update from Wiltfong also came just one week after Ojo put the Bulldogs inside his top eight.

It's unfortunate that this recruitment is trending away from Gerogia, but that doesn't mean it's officially over. Recruiting nowadays is extremely unpredictable as players seemingly change their mind alomst every day. So as the year goes on, there is a chance that Kirby Smart and his staff could work their magic and try to move past Texas in this recruitment.

But as it stands, that is going to be extremely difficult to do and something no one should expect right now.
