Georgia football is going to need to be extremely reliant on their run game this season. That means a lot of the offense is going to fall on running back Nate Frazier who projects to be the starter out of the backfield for UGA this season.

Georgia fans have a lot of confidence in Frazier after his true freshman season in 2024, but that confidence is growing even more after a recent workout video Frazier posted on social media on Monday went viral.

Nate Frazier is ready to be the leader of Georgia's RB room

Frazier's number was called a lot earlier in his career than anyone could have predicted. Frazier was always going to be a piece of the puzzle for Georgia's offense last season, but he was never expected to be the featured running back during his true freshman season.

That however changed after multiple injuries plagued Georgia's running back room. Midway through the season Frazier found himself as the starting running back for Georgia during an important stretch in Georgia's schedule. So what did Frazier do? He dominated from the moment he took over and helped lead Georgia to Atlanta where they won an SEC Championship.

Frazier finished the 2024 season with 133 carries, 671 yards and eight touchdowns. He also added 12 receptions and 85 receiving yards as well.

The departure of Trevor Etienne to the NFL has paved the way for Frazier to be the lead running back for Georgia during the 2025 season. Frazier does have Illinois transfer Josh McCray as well as a healthy Roderick Robinson along his side, but Frazier projects to be the heavily featured running back for Georgia this season.

And based on how well he did last season after being thrown into the fire and the impressive workout video above, Georgia fans should not worry at all about the star that Frazier could become this season.
