Running back Nate Frazier has a chance to be one of the best players on Georgia's offense this season. He will be the starting running back on a team that will need to rely on the run game in order to find success moving the ball, so it's important that he has a massive season this year.
Thankfully the Maxwell Award, which goes to the nation's best college football player at the end of every season, named Frazier to their watch list on Monday.

Nate Frazier is Georgia's most important offensive player this fall
There are a lot of questions surrounding Georgia's offense this fall. Frazier however does not have any questions he needs to answer.
Frazier was thrust into the starting role last season after Georgia's running back room suffered multiple injuries. It is scary having to start any true freshman at running back, but Frazier immediately put those worries to bed as he dominated the moment he took over. Frazier received 133 carries last season and was able to tally 671 yards and eight touchdowns.
Trevor Etienne could have returned for one more season at Georgia which would have given UGA the best running back duo in the country. But Etienne's departure to the NFL paves the way for Frazier to become the lead back and receive a large percentage of carries this season.
Georgia will be starting a new quarterback this fall, so that means Kirby Smart and Georgia will rely heavily on the run game to make life easier for whoever the QB is. So if Georgia is going to be successful on offense it will start with Frazier and the rest of the run game to get the offense in a groove each game.
Thankfully Frazier is more than ready to help lead Georgia's offense this fall, and who knows, maybe he will contend for the Maxwell Award throughout the season as well.
