Georgia once again is putting together one of the strongest recruiting classes in the country. Their 2027 recruiting class however is only ranked No. 8 in the country which is below the expectations at a place like Georgia.

It is only April though, so it's hard to get too upset about that right now. But the fact that their rival Florida has a higher recruiting class than them is a problem that Kirby Smart needs to solve now.

Kirby Smart must respond immediately now that Florida has a better recruiting class

Smart needs to respond to this in a hurry. Sure it is only April which gives Georgia plenty of time to end up in front, but being behind one of your rivals is never a good thing.

Thankfully there are a lot of reasons why Georgia doesn't have to worry.

For starters, Florida has two more commits than Georgia right and now are barely ranked above them. In fact, they are only .196 behind Florida which is essentially nothing.

On top of that, Georgia's commits have a higher average ranking and the Bulldogs have two five-star commits compared to Florida's one.

But to top it all off, Georgia will more than likely be adding yet another five-star recruit to their recruiting class on April 30. Jaxon Dollar, who is the No. 2 tight end in the country, is set to announce his final decision on this date and Georgia is one of his finalists. Not only are they a finalist, but they were actually just predicted to win his recruitment.

Adding Dollar to Georgia's class will send them flying past Florida, so the current reality will no longer exist if that comes true.

Georgia will hopefully stay above Florida for the rest of the recruiting cycle from then on, but even if they don't it isn't the end of the world as long as they end up on top in December. And based on how things have gone in the past, that is likely to happen once again.
