The Texas Longhorns are one of Georgia's biggest competitors on the recruiting trail. This was the case before they joined the SEC, but after they beacme a conference rival the Bulldogs have run into Texas on the recruiting trail even more.
Last recruiting cycle Texas stole a couple commits from Georgia, and now they are attempting to do the same thing with wide receiver Gavin Honore.

Texas Longhorns are getting in Georgia's way with elite WR commit
Honore is one of six recruits that is currently committed to Georgia's 2027 recruiting class. He did so at the beginning of June and ever since he has been completely locked in with Georgia. In fact, there was even a recent report that indicated he has been turning down other schools that have been pursuing him.
However, Texas was not a school included in that report, and the above update shows that the Longhorns are making a big push to try and flip him.
Georgia has completely dominated Texas since they joined the conference two years ago. The Bulldogs have already played Texas three times in the lst two years, and all three of those matchups resulted in a Georgia win. This includes a win at Texas when the Longhorns were the No. 1 ranked team in the country, a victory in the SEC Championship game last year and a blowout victory in Athens this season.
One would assume that this success would make most recruits favor Georgia over Texas, but that has proven to not be the case.
At this point Honore hasn't come out and shown public interest in Texas, but that doesn't mean he isn't talking with them behind closed doors. And while it would be nice to hold onto his commitment, if he flips to Texas after all the success Georgia has found against them then more power to him.
