Brock Williams is the No. 2 tight end in the 2027 recruiting class. He is someone that Georgia has prioritized throughout his recruitment, and because of that he has always hag UGA as one of his top teams.

Fast forward to this past week and Williams released his top three schools which included Georgia, Texas and Ohio State. That however wasn't the biggest news surrounding his recruitment because Williams also shared that he plans to announce his commitment in the coming weeks.

Georgia's recruitment of Williams is now more important than ever before, so that is why it was a big deal when reports came out that he will be visiting Georgia this weekend.

Nation's No. 2 TE may have hinted at good news coming for Georgia

As metioned, Williams is expected to announce his commitment in the next few weeks. That means Georgia, Ohio State and Texas all need to ramp up thier recruitments of him as they look to add him to their recruiting class. And while all three schools are likely doing that, it is Georgia who is finding the most success.

Williams visit to Athens next week is the most important visit of his recruitment. Since he is expected to commit soon the fact that he is going to Georgia one more time is a great indication that he might be leaning towards UGA right now. Also is the fact that On3 believes Georiga is the team to beat right now.

This visit and update from On3 do not guarantee that Georgia will win this recruitment, but it definitely shows that the Bulldogs should expect good news from Williams if he does announce his commitment soon. And since he is a top 40 player in the country and the No. 2 tight end, his commitment would be a huge addition to Georgia's 2027 recruiting class.
