Georgia's 2025 season is coming to an end as the Bulldogs have just two games left to play in their regular season. After Georgia's 35-10 victory over Texas on Saturday there is only one game left for UGA to look forward to as they face a lowly Charlotte team next week at home.

Charlotte will be an easy victory for Georgia next week, and after that is UGA's annual finale against Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets are having a great season this year as they are 9-1 and in control of their destiny to make it to the ACC Championship game. Some Georgia fans might be a little nervous to play Georgia Tech after seeing their record, but that matchup in two weeks just got a lot easier for UGA.

Georgia's matchup with Georgia Tech just got a lot easier

Georgia is one of the hottest teams in the country right now. They are on a six game win streak and just took down a top 10 Texas team by 25 points on Saturday. There aren't many teams who can say they are playing at Georgia's level right now, but Georgia Tech is one of the last teams who should act like they are even close to UGA.

While a 9-1 record is very impressive, it has come against an extremely weak ACC. For a conference that is supposed to be a "power four" conference, the ACC did not have a team inside the College Football Playoff committee's top 15 last week. So Tech was able to get to their 9-1 record by playing a lot of really bad ACC teams.

Georgia Tech also hasn't looked that great in recent weeks either as they lost to NC State two weeks ago 48-36. Then on Saturday they only beat a 1-9 Boston College team by two points.

So while it is easy to see how Georgia is a team trending in the right direction as the season is coming to and end, it is just as obvious to recognize how much Georgia Tech is struggling. So while no one should think beating them in two weeks will be easy, it is looking much easier than it did earlier this season.
