Georgia is back in the NCAA Tournament for the second year in a row. After their early exit in the SEC Tournament, the NCAA Tournament committee still liked the Bulldogs' resume enough to give them the 8-seed in the Midwest region.

Georgai's first-round matchup is against 9-seed Saint Louis and will be played Thursday night. The start time for this matchup however is about as bad as it can get because the Bulldogs' NCAA Tournament run will begin at 9:45 pm EST.

Gerogia vs Saint Louis first-round tip time will disgust fans

Georgia fans don't get to watch their team play in the NCAA Tournament that often, so when they do make the field it is appointment television. This year however will be difficult for some to watch since the game is starting so late in the night.

Georgia's game however could start even later than 9:45 because 1-seed Michigan plays at 7:10 pm EST that night on the same court. If that game runs longer than expexted there is a chance Georgia's game may not start until after 10:00 pm.

Once fans get over this ridiculous start time they will see that Georgia actually has a favorable matchup. Last year they were blown out by 8-seed Gonzaga in the first-round of the tournament, but that Gonzaga team never should've been seeded that low. This year though Georgia got a favorable matchup, and as a result Vegas has favored the Bulldogs by 2.5 points.

If Georgia wins this game they will advance and likely take on 1-seed Michigan in the second-round on Saturday. That would be a scary matchup, but the Wolverines have shown some cracks over the last few weeks that UGA can take advantage of.

But before that game matters Georgia has to get by Saint Louis first, and if fans want to watch that game they may need to take a short nap leading up to it.
