Earlier this week a ranking of the top five college football atmospheres in the SEC was released, and Georgia was nowhere to be found on that list. This upset a lot of Georgia fans for good reason, but it left UGA fans with one important thing to do.
Prove this list wrong.
Thankfully Georgia has one of the best home schedules of all time this fall as they will host Alabama, Ole Miss and Texas. Sanford Stadium will undoubtedly be rocking for all three of these games, but just how great will the atmospheres be?
No one will know that answer until the regular season begins, but the kickoff time that was just announced for the Alabama game which will immensely help Georgia’s home field advantage.

Georgia will face Alabama under the lights
Georgia will face Alabama in their fourth game of the season on Sept. 27. A kickoff time for this game was unknown until it was announced on Wednesday that the game is scheduled for 7:30 pm EST.
This means that Georgia will get to play their biggest game of the season under the lights which will make the Sanford Stadium atmosphere second to none.
Alabama is the only team Georgia has still been unable to surpass during the Kirby Smart era. Sure Georgia beat the Tide in the National Championship game, but that is the only recent win for Georgia over Alabama. So UGA fans want nothing more than to finally see Georgia beat Alabama again.
And while that will be very difficult to accomplish this season, this game being at night will give Georgia the best chance possible to knock off the Tide.
