Georgia football already lost one recruit this week when Alabama stole three-star EDGE Corey Howard. Unfortunately more bad news could be coming for Georgia as one of their top commits in the 2026 recruiting class is still being recruited by a few other programs.

4-star Justice Fitzpatrick continues hearing from other schools

Justice Fitzpatrick is one of the top commits in Georgia's 2026 recruiting class. According to the 247Sports composite rankings, he is the No. 44 overall player in the country. He also is the No. 4 corner in the 2026 class and the No. 4 player from his home state of Florida.

Fitzpatrick originally committed to Georgia on June 3. This commitment took place just four days after he officially visited Georgia this summer, and this quick of a commitment was a big deal. Fitzpatrick was being recruited by a wide range of schools, but he chose to not take any official visits other than the one to Georgia on May 30. So he loved Georgia so much at the time that he knew he did not need to go see any other program.

Unfortunately his recruitment is not completely over becuse he is still hearing from Ohio State and Miami, according to the above report from Rivals' Marcus Benjamin.

The good news fo Georgia is that the above post does not indicate how interested Fitzpatrick is. Fitzpatrick however could tell these schools he is not interested and cut all ties with them, but that apparently has not happened. So as long as he is listening to other schools, his recruitment is not over.

Georgia has less than two months until early signing day where they will be able to officially sign Fitzpatrick and the rest of their class. So Georgia doesn't need to hold on much longer to officially make Fitzpatrick a Bulldog.
