The biggest game of Georgia's season is almost here as they will take on Ole Miss in the College Football Playoff with a trip to the semifinals on the line. Not only is a trip to the semis up for grabs, but a matchup against former Georgia quarterback Carson Beck is waiting for them if they win this game.
Georgia can't afford to think about that though. They need to remain focused on the task at hand because Ole Miss is plenty talented enough to beat them.
The good news is that Gunner Stockton has the perfect mindset entering this game that the rest of the team will be able to feed off of.

The above statement from Stockton shows that he is only focused on the task at hand. He isn't worried about what could happen in the future, he is only thinking about Ole Miss and winning this game.
Sotckton also isn't letting the moment get to him either. Last season he and Georgia struggled in the CFP against Notre Dame partially because they let the big game atmosphere get in their heads a little bit. But Stockton is saying how he is just excited to be in the playoff which is helping him remain calm in this setting.
The rest of the team will see this mindset from Stockton and try to mirror it because he is their leader. So not only is this the best mindset for Stockton, but he is helping the rest of the team have the perfect mindset entering this matchup as well.
