Now this is something you don't see every day. It isn't common that former Georgia superstar Herschel Walker makes noteworthy Georgia news, and this may be the first time that President Donald Trump found himself involved with Georgia football.

But these two crossed paths on Thursday as they were spotted chatting it up after President Trump's arrival to the Peach State.

Herschel Walker meets up with President Donald Trump

President Trump flew to Georgia on Thursday. Upon his arrival Walker was spotted on the runway ready to greet him. Alongside Walker was none other than current Georgia quarterback Gunner Stockton.

This is about as random of a sighting as anyone could’ve expected to see on Thursday. Walker and President Trump do have a little history dating back to when Walker was still playing professionally, but beyond that they don’t see each other too often. Throw in Stockton and this is an unexpected encounter for everyone.

This wasn’t the only interaction between these three on Thursday though. President Trump gave a speech later in the day which both Stockton and Walker were present for. Not only did they attend the speech, but at certain points they were standing next to President Trump. He even shared a few words about what makes Stockton such a great player, and Stockton responded with a message of his own to President Trump.

No one woke up on Thursday expecting to see any of these individuals interacting with each other, but they ended up talking and hanging out for a good amount of time. They even went as far as to publicly share some positive thoughts about each other.

There’s a great chance this is the last time that President Trump will ever be involved with Georgia football, but it seems like he could be someone cheering UGA on all next season.
