6. Georgia hosts two Junior Days
The final big thing that happens every January is the first Junior Days of the year. Junior Days are an opportunity for Georgia to bring in all of their top targets on the recruiting trail to Athens on a visit all at once. These events always showcase just how many recruits are interested in Georgia and which players Georgia stands a great chance at landing commitments from.
The first Junior Day took place on on Jan. 18 that saw over 22 recruits flock to Athens. Then just two weeks later on Feb. 1 (not technically January but we're counting it) the Bulldogs hosted their second Junior Day that saw the visitor list explode to over 30 recruits.
Most recruits will not announce commitments in the month of January, so there was never really an expectation for Georgia to add to their recruiting class after these two major events. But Georgia did make a lot of progress with many of the players that visited campus and some have even been officially predicted by recruiting experts to eventually commit to UGA.
