The SEC is doing something new in 2026. The conference has decided to implement nine mandatory conference games per team each season.

Whether you love it or hate it, it brings back a lot of pride and excitement to the conference.

Some of the teams the Georgia Bulldogs are slated to play happened just a season ago. Others, it has been a bit longer, but if history repeats itself Georgia should expect great things during the 2026 season.

Arkansas Razorbacks: 2021 (Won 37-0)

In what was actually a highly anticipated game with College GamedDay in Athens, the No. 2 ranked Bulldogs manhandled the No. 8 Arkansas Razorbacks 37-0. The crowd noise was electric despite the noon kickoff, which reach a whopping 110 decibels.

Oklahoma Sooners: 2018 (Rose Bowl) (Won 54-48 OT)

A game that every Georgia fan knows by heart, the last time the Sooners faced Georgia was in 2018 in the College Football Playoff semifinals. In this back-and-forth game, Georgia stormed back from a 17-point halftime deficit to defeat Heisman Trophy Winner Baker Mayfield.

This game went down as arguably the best in the history of the Rose Bowl, with Sony Michel finishing with 181 rushing yards on 11 carries and three touchdowns. Likewise, Nick Chubb finished with 145 yards and two touchdowns on just 14 carries.

Vanderbilt Commodores: 2023 (Won 37-20)

In what ended up being a rather uneventful game, Georgia handled Vanderbilt in Nashville despite Brock Bowers leaving the game early. One fun tidbit from this game though is that London Humphreys, who now plays for Georgia, scored the first points of the game with a 49-yard touchdown for the Commodores.

Alabama Crimson Tide: 2025 (SEC Championship) (Won 28-7)

A sweet taste to every Bulldog fan's mouth, Georgia is still riding high after crushing the Tide in Atlanta by 21 points this past December. After forcing first-round pick Ty Simpson to less than 50 percent completion percentage and an interception, Georgia will be looking for that same type of dominance in Tuscaloosa this upcoming season.

Auburn Tigers: 2025 (Won 20-10)

In what was a frustrating game with plenty of controversial calls on both sides, Georgia escaped Auburn with a 10-point win in 2025. The game showcased Georgia's resiliency with plays like Gunner Stockton's Superman dive to seal the game in the fourth quarter. Georgia won the game by scoring 20 straight in the last 35 minutes of the game.

Florida Gators: 2025 (Won 24-20)

An unexpected nail-biter, Georgia once again beat their rival Florida by four in what will be the last game between the two in Jacksonville for at least a few seasons. The game featured five lead changes and over 600 yards of total offense, including 112 yards from Zachariah Branch.

Ole Miss Rebels: 2026 (Sugar Bowl) (Lost 39-34)

A heartbreaker in New Orleans, the only loss on this list came to Ole Miss in the Sugar Bowl this past New Year. The last time Georgia sought revenge against the Rebels was this past regular season in Athens where they won a shootout. In what is starting to slowly become a rivalry, this game is shaping up to be a fun one in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

Missouri Tigers: 2023 (Won 30-21)

A top 12 game, no. 12 ranked Missouri fell to no. 2 Georgia in Athens by nine in a more fun game than the score leads you to believe. The game included four lead changes and an improbable interception by big man Nazir Stackhouse, which was called "play of the year" by former Dawg Ladd McConkey.

South Carolina: 2023 (Won 24-14)

A scary trap game for Georgia at first, the first ranked Bulldogs took care of the South Carolina Gamecocks 24-14. After trailing 14-3 at halftime, the Bulldogs went on to outscore the Gamecocks 21-0 in the second half.
