The NFL Combine is officially here. This is one of two chances for players looking to get selected in the NFL Draft later this spring to show NFL organizations why they should use one of their draft picks on them.
Every college will have their pro day later this spring, but the Combine is the event that people care about the most. The Combine will put each player through a laundry list of workouts and drills that will show the athletic abilities each player has. But here’s the catch, it’s an invite only event.
14 players from Georgia were invited which is tied for the second most in the country, but only 12 players will participate after defensive lineman Mykel Williams and linebacker Jalon Walker opted out on Wednesday. Regardless, there is still a lot to watch and cheer for as a Georgia football fan.
The NFL Combine begins Thursday, Feb. 27 and runs through Sunday, March 2. The Combine will be aired on the NFL Network each day, and each position will have their designated date and time where they will participate.
