Georgia football’s most recent injury report was a really nice thing to see as there were only five players listed. This is a huge improvement from the double digit players on it before the Georgia Tech game last week.

While there are less players on this week’s report, there are still some key players that Georgia hopes will be able to suit up against Texas in the SEC Championship game. And one of those players is defensive lineman Christen Miller.

Miller was listed as questionable on Friday’s edition of Georgia’s injury report, so will he be playing against Texas today?

Will Christen Miller play vs. Texas?

Miller has only missed Georgia’s most recent game against Georgia Tech, so unlike other players he has not been out for that long. But similarly to someone like running back Trevor Etienne, it seems unlikely that he will return for the SEC Championship game.

Earlier this week, Kirby Smart shared that Miller has begun practicing and taking reps with them team. But it sounded like he was not a full participant during practice, which makes it seem unlikely that he’ll play against Texas today.

That however wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world considering Georgia’s depth at defensive line for this game is good enough. So it may be the smart choice to hold Miller out for this game and let him get healthy before Georgia’s College Football Playoff run. The CFP is far more important than the SEC Championship game anyways, so you can’t fault Smart or Miller if that’s the decision that is made.

We will find out soon enough if Miller does play or not, but either way Georgia will be fine and will have every chance to beat Texas for the second time this season.
