Is Georgia football a team of destiny, or are they flying too close to the sun?

Georgia football did the unthinkable Saturday night and won yet another dramatic road game. The Bulldogs defeated Auburn 20-10 in a game that the Tigers had complete control of for the first 28 minutes.

But the only thing that matters is what the final score says, and Saturday night it said that Georgia was the better team.

This win moves Georgia to 5-1 on the season and in prime position to compete for an SEC and National Championship. But as a Georgia fan it's hard to wonder if UGA is a team of destiny this season or if they are flying a little too close to the sun.

Georgia might be a team of destiny or just a few games from ending their season

Saturday marked the second win of the season that Georgia had to mount a miraculous comeback. The first came four weeks ago at Tennessee when Georgia stormed all the way back to win after trailing the Volunteers 21-7 early in the game. Everyone remembers that the Tennessee kicker missed a field goal as time expired in regulation that allowed Georgia to win in overtime, so without that miss Georgia would have lost to Tennessee.

Georgia got a little fortunate Saturday against Auburn as well when quarterback Jackson Arnold fumbled on the goal line. This would have given Auburn a 17-0 lead and would have made it nearly impossible for Georgia to win this game. UGA however went on to dominate Auburn from that moment on and came away with another big road victory.

While Georgia deserves to celebrate these two wins, it's impossible to not think about how they both very easily could have been losses. Had Georgia lost both of these games they would be sitting at 3-3 with their season already over.

Thankfully that is not the case and Georgia is 5-1 and looking like a team of destiny this season. But at the same time Georgia needs to be careful because they might be flying a little too close to the sun and at some point could get burned in a future game.
