Former Georgia football offensive coordinator Todd Monken finally became a head coach in the NFL this offseason. He made it very clear during his three years in Athens that this was his ultimate goal, so fans were ecstatic when he was officially named the new head coach of the Cleveland Browns.
The Browns most likely aren't a team many Georgia fans support in the NFL, but now that Monken is their head coach they will want to see him do well.
However, a new report came out that indicates that Monken met with former Georgia quarterback Carson Beck which could be a sign of their reunion in the big leagues.
The Browns hosted Miami QB Carson Beck for a top-30 visit.

Carson Beck and Todd Monken could be reuniting in the NFL
Monken overlapped with Beck at Georgia during the three years he was the offensive coordinator. He however did not coach Beck while he was Georgia's starter, but he would still know who he is as a player very well.
Beck is someone that has been making a lot of noise heading into the first round of the NFL Draft on Thursday. Rumors are circulating that he could sneak into the first round, and there is a chance that it could be Monken and the Browns making that pick.
Another possible landing spot for Beck is with the LA Rams as Jimmy Garoppolo debates retirement. He is the current backup for the Rams, so LA could bring Beck in to compete with Stetson Bennett to be their new backup. Now wouldn't that be interesting for Georgia fans?
Who knows where Beck will end up, but it's becoming more clear that a team could take an early chance on him. The Rams selecting him does make a lot of sense, but the Browns seem like a very possible landing spot because of his connection to Monken.
