Georgia has never really cared about Vanderbilt until the last few months. Before Jared Curtis flipped to the Commodores they were an afterthought for Georgia and a team they would destroy whenever they were fortunate enough to play them.

Vanderbilt however is a program on the rise, and after stealing Curtis from them they now have Georgia's full attention.

Georgia will get their chance at revenge against Vanderbilt and Curtis next season when they come to Athens for an early season matchup, but there is a chance Curtis is already having second thoughts about his decision.

Jared Curtis may learn to regret ditching Georgia

Vanderbilt finished the regular season with a 10-2 record and thought they had a good argument to make the College Football Playoff. In reality they didn't even come close to making the playoff as they finished as the No. 14 team in the committee's final rankings which was four spots out of the field.

Their consolation prize was a bowl game against No. 23 Iowa who everyone thought they would beat. The Hawkeyes however jumped on Vanderbilt early and then held on for a 34-27 victory.

Losing a non-playoff bowl game really isn't that big of a deal. Curtis however likely saw a Vanderbilt offensive line that was dominated all game long who gave up five sacks throughout the course of the game. Any quarterback will struggle if they face that much pressure, so Curtis might be having second thoughts about going to Vanderbilt after seeing his future offensive line play so poorly.

At this point it is too late for Curtis to change his mind and come back to Georgia. Even if he wanted to there is a chance that Kirby Smart would no longer be interested in him. But there is a chance that Curtis is regretting his decision to flip to Vanderbilt after watching his future teammates play so poorly against Iowa.
