Georgia fans received the worst news possible on Thursday. The Bulldogs found out that five-star quarterback commit Jared Curtis just visited Vanderbilt on Wednesday and that he is making a return trip on Saturday for their game against Missouri as well.

This obviously sent shockwaves through Athens because Curtis is the last recruit anyone wants to lose. Thankfully Curtis's agent made it clear later on Thursday that there is nothing for Georgia to worry about when it comes to Curtis's commitment.

Jared Curtis drama ended as quickly as it started

Vanderbilt may initially seem like a random school to get involved with Curtis, but they do have some things going for them. They have found a lot of success this season as they are 6-1 and the No. 10 team in the country. On top of that, they have a superstar at QB in Diego Pavia they can use to see a vision of success to Curtis. It also doesn't hurt that they are his hometown team as well.

Thursday morning it looked like their pitch to Curtis was working, because why else would he make multiple visits? But Curtis's agent has told Georgia fans there is nothing to worry about, so that should help calm the nerves of everyone in Athens.

But as long as Curtis is visiting Vanderbilt there will always be a reason for Georgia to be nervous. If he was 100 percent committed to Georgia there would be no reason to make these visits, and Curtis is clearly not at that point yet.

It will be inetersting to see if anything comes out of this visits, but at this point no news is good news so hopefully Curtis's name isn't making headlines next week or Georgia could be inserious trouble.
