Georgia football appears to be on the verge of losing their commitment from five-star quarterback Jared Curtis. For the last month Curtis has slowly been slipping through Georgia's fingertips and into the hands of Vanderbilt, but earlier this week Rivals recruiting expert Steve Wiltfong predicted that he would flip to the Commodores.
Curtis's final decision is expected to come next Friday, but at this point it seemed like Georgia no longer stood much of a chance. That however quickly changed on Friday when Curtis's mother took to social media and said she would prefer her son to go to Georgia over Vanderbilt.
Go Dawgs!! I prefer red and black!

Jared Curtis's mom gives Georgia new hope
In the above post Curtis's mom responded to a post from a Vanderbilt fan claiming that he will look good in black and gold. Curtis's mom was not tagged in this post, but she decided to go out of her way and say that she prefers him in red and black.
This obviously is referring to Georgia and how she would prefer Curtis to stick with his commitment to Georgia instead of flipping to Vandebilt. Unfortunately it may not matter as Curtis still looks like he is going to ditch Georgia and flip to Vanderbilt.
Early signing period begins on Wednesday, but Curtis is waiting until Friday to make his final deicision as he will play for a high school state championship on Thursday. So Georgia fans only have to wait a few more days to find out if Curtis will stick with UGA or turn his back on them for the second time in his recruitment.
It's not looking good for Georgia right now, but with his mom in his ear over the next week there might be a chance that she is able to swing things back in UGA's favor.
