The final week of the regular season is officially here, and while most teams are focusing on what's taking place on the field Georgia unfortunately has a lot of off the field drama impacting the program.

Five-star quarterback commit Jared Curtis has seemingly been on the verge of ditching UGA and flipping to Vanderbilt for weeks now. That is at least what it's felt like since he made a surprise visit to Vanderbilt about a month ago.

Ever since then Curtis and his camp have said that he isn't leaving Georgia, but actions speak louder than words and all signs pointed to that not being the case. Fast forward to Friday and Rivals recruiting expert Steve Wiltfong has officially predicted Curtis to flip to Vanderbilt.

5-star QB Jared Curtis predicted to break the hearts of Georgia fans

There have been a few developments that occurred this week that led to Wiltfong making this prediction. The first domino was Vanderbilt's former quarterback commit decommitting from the program out of nowhere. This was a sign that the Commodores were making room for Curtis because there would be no other reason for that player to leave Vanderbilt after being committed to them for over a year.

Then the second domino fell Friday morning when Vanderbilt extended head coach Clark Lea's contract for another six years. This gives Curtis security in knowing that his head coach (if he chose Vanderbilt) would not be going anywhere during his career when many felt he was going to take a new job this offseason.

Georgia still has a week to change Curtis's mind since he will announce his final decision on Dec. 5, but this recruitment appears to be over. But Georgia fans shouldn't panic because their quarterback room is very healthy and if Curtis is going to decommit from UGA a second time then there is no reason anyone should miss him.
