It has been a few weeks now since five-star quarterback Jared Curtis ditched Georgia and flipped to Vanderbilt. While UGA fans wish this never happened, they have moved on from Curtis and know that Georgia will be just fine without him.

But what if there was a way for Curtis to become a Bulldog again? It may seem far-fetched, but Joel Klatt outlined one scenario that could see Curtis leave Vanderbilt and come crawling back to Georgia.

A path for Jared Curtis to return to Georgia exists

Last week the Michigan Wolverines fired head coach Sherrone Moore out of nowhere. Michigan is one of the top jobs in all of college football, so they will be able to attract a big name coach from another other school even if they just signed an extension or were hired by a new program.

Earlier this week Klatt named six coaches that he believes could become Michigan's next head coach, and Vanderbilt head coach Clark Lea is on that list.

Lea just signed an extension with the Commodores and that is one of the reasons why Curtis ended up flipping to Vanderbilt. But what happens if Lea did leave for Michigan?

There is a chance that Curtis would not want to stay with the Commodores if Lea left for another job. Curtis could decide that he no longer wants to play for Vanderbilt, so he could request to get out of his Leter of Intent and look for a new school to join.

This is the scenario that could send Curtis back to Georgia, but it's unclear if Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs would even want him. Why would Georgia welcome him back with open arms after he ditched their program right before early signing day? It might seem crazy to not let a five-star quarterback come back, but Smart seems like the type of coach that wouldn't want that presence in his locker room.

This scenario more than likely will not play out and both Curtis and Lea will remain at Vanderbilt. Georgia however is probably more than fine with that because that would give them a chance to get revenge and beat Curtis on the field next season.
