Georgia football is sitting in a good spot at this point in the season. They are 4-1 with a great win at Tennessee that will look really good on their College Football Playoff resume at the end of the season.

But there is a lot of room for improvement still because the Bulldogs haven't proven they are one of the best teams in the country quite yet. One team however that unfortunately has proven to be one of the best teams in the country is Miami (FL) who as everyone knows is quarterbacked by former UGA standout Carson Beck.

A lot of college football analysts have been singing Miami's praises this season, and that has especially been the case recently after yet another big win for the Hurricanes last weekend. The most recent analyst to voice how impressed they've been with Miami is On3's Josh Pate, who believes they are the best team in the country right now.

“There is no team that looks like Miami. There is no team that big, that fast, that physical, and that aggressive as Miami. Nowhere.”

To Georgia fan's dismay, Miami looks much better than the rest of the country

Georgia fans at the end of the day only really care about how good the Bulldogs are. They do however have their eyes on a few other teams in the SEC that they are competing against to win the conference. Georgia fans usually don't pay much attention to teams outside the SEC right now because they don't have an impact on their season right now.

That however is not the case with Miami after Beck transferred to the Hurricanes this offseason. The last thing Georgia fans want to see is Beck win a championship with Miami after ditching them this offseason. Unfortunately it looks like they are one of the teams most likely to win the College Football Playoff this season.

Beck and Miami already have wins over Notre Dame, a ranked USF team, Florida and Florida State which gives them the best resume in the country. Miami also does not face another ranked opponent the rest of this season, so there is a great chance they go 12-0 during the regular season.

Georgia's main focus should still be on themselves right now. But at the same time it's impossible to ignore what is taking place with Beck at Miami especially if analysts like Pate keep talking so highly about them.
