Georgia just wrapped up one of their biggest recruiting events of the offseason. Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs hosted multiple elite recruits over the weekend, and by all accounts this was an extremely successful weekend.
This recruiting event however was extremely unique compared to any other weekend in the past. The event itself was pretty standard and the list of recruits visiting was pretty typical as well, but the weather made this weekend's visits look and feel a lot different compared to the norm.

Winter storm didn't stop Georgia's impressive recruiting efforts
How often does it snow in Athens? Not very often. And the rare times that it does Georgia typically isn't hosting countless elite recruits on campus. But that is what happened this past weekend which is what made the above photo possible.
Sure it is just a standard picture of Smart welcoming a recruit (2027 wide receiver Elias Pearl) to campus, but seeing the snow falling around them and them all bundled up made this an unforgettable picture.
This weather could be viewed as a bad thing because it may have limited the coaching staff on what they could show the recruits during their visit. But something tells me this weather was welcomed with open arms. Knowing Georgia and their coaching staff they probably found a way to use this snow to their advantage, and that likely included taking some really cool pictures in the snow which not many recruits are able to experience.
The highlight of this weekend was all of the progress made with the recruits on campus. This includes one of Georgia's commits saying that he left Athens feeling locked in with UGA after reports of his interest in other schools.
But this moment in the snow is one of the most unique things a recruit could experience at Georgia and is something that everyone will definitely remember.
