Winning football games in the SEC is very difficult, but regularly beating the best teams in the conference is even more challenging. That however has become the reality with Georgia when it comes to Tennessee after they beat them for the ninth season season in a row last weekend.

There is one thing though that is even more difficult than beating Tennessee nine years in a row, and that is rcing their fans to start cheering for Alabama who is one of their biggest rivals. But that is exactly what has happened as one Tennessee fan proclaimed on social media that they want to see Alabama beat Georgia next weekend.

This fan clearly isn't alone in these thoughts either as this post alone was liked by over 250 people.

Georgia beat Tennessee so bad they're cheering for their rival now

Is there ever a scenario where Georgia fans would cheer for Florida or Auburn? The only time that would make sense is if a win by either of those teams would help Georgia make the SEC Championship game or College Football Playoff, but beyond that no UGA fan would ever cheer for those schools.

That logic doesn't exist in this scenario though because Tennessee doesn't need any help making it to the CFP or SEC Championship game. If they simply win out they will accomplish both of those goals, so there is no need to start cheering for other teams yet.

But apparently Georgia has broken the souls of Tennessee fans so bad that the thing they care about most is seeing UGA lose even if it means their rival wins. In reality, a loss by Alabama would be good for Tennessee because it would put their biggest rival one step closer to a third loss which essentially eliminates them from realistic CFP contention.

But Kirby Smart and Georgia have done the unthinkable by beating Tennessee so bad for so long that their fans are now cheering for Alabama.
