Kirby Smart learned a lot during Georgia's G-Day on Saturday. He also got a sneak peek at what he can expect from his team this season after a month and a half of practices this spring.

After G-Day Smart shared three things with the media that he learned about his team, and it's safe to say these three things will carry Georgia all season long.

"They enjoy it. They compete. They've worked hard," Smart said via 247sports.com. "I mean, we probably had one day that I wish I could trade in because we had a hot day early that they did not handle well, and then every day after that, they really compete. They come out and compete."

Georgia's mindset will carry them all season long

The three things Smart shared that he learned about Georgia this spring is that they compete, work hard and really enjoy playing with each other. These three things may seem a bit elementary, but it can't be stressed enough how important they are.

It goes without saying how important it is to compete and work really hard every single day. If Georgia doesn't do this then they stand no chance at accomplishing their goals this season. But the third thing Smart learned is potentially the most important.

Smart said that his team really enjoys practicing and competing with each other. That speaks to how close this group is and how much tighter they will get as the offseason continues.

It's one thing to work hard even when you don't enjoy it, but to actually enjoy working hard will take Georgia to another level. This will allow them to go the extra mile and prepare more than any other team they face this season. And that could be the difference between having another solid season this year and actually making a run in the College Football Playoff.

Smart certainly learned a lot more about his team than three things, but if these three things continue to be true all season long then this could be another special year for Georgia football.
