Over the last few years, Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs have laid claim to some of the best tight ends in the country.

From Darnell Washington to Brock Bowers to Oscar Delp, the big men have been an integral piece of Georgia's offensive success. Now, Smart and the Dawgs are primed to land yet another blue-chip TE prospect.

Four-star tight end Grant Haviland was in Athens this past weekend and, despite the Bulldogs' loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide, he had great things to say about the program.

Jeremy Johnson, a Georgia recruiting expert for On3, shared that the Bulldogs made yet another great impression on Haviland, who is from right down the road in Milton, GA.

Currently, On3 and Rivals have the young tight end leaning toward the Bulldogs, giving Georgia a 21.9 percent chance to land his commitment, followed by the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and the Auburn Tigers.

So far, Haviland has taken six visits to Georgia, including the most recent one, five to Georgia Tech, and four to Auburn. As of now, the tight end from the class of 2027 has yet to take or schedule any official visits.

Haviland is the No. 13 tight end in the class and the No. 28 prospect out of Georgia, earning a four-star rating in the latest update. In his young recruitment process, Haviland has already received 42 Division I offers, including ones from the Texas Longhorns, Alabama Crimson Tide, Ole Miss Rebels, and more SEC rivals.

Smart has landed just four commitments from the class of 2027 at this point, including four-star offensive tackle Kelsey Adams, four-star cornerback Donte Wright, three-star interior offensive lineman Kyson Mallard, and three-star wide receiver Gavin Honore.

The Bulldogs currently own the No. 2 recruiting class of 2026, only trailing the USC Trojans and residing at the No. 1 spot in the SEC.
