Georgia football entered their matchup against Florida as healthy as they've been all season. They did still have a few Bulldogs out, but Georgia's offensive line was 100 percent healthy for the first time all season which was a great thing to see.

Georgia's defense had remained pretty healthy all season, but that unfortunately did not remain true during Georgia's win over Florida. The Bulldogs suffered three key injuries on the defensive side of the ball on Saturday, with the first occurring on the first possession of the game to defensive lineman Jordan Hall.

Kirby Smart provided the following update after the game about Hall's injury.

"Something to do with his knee," Smart said via 247Sports.com while noting he does not know the severity of the injury.

Smart later noted that linebacker Chris Cole suffered a similar knee injury to Hall while the injury to defensive back Demello Jones was “something to do with his elbow.”

The last thing Georgia needs right now is a laundrey list of injuries. With four games left to play this season and all of their goals still in front of them, but the Bulldogs needed to remain healthy to put themselves in as good of a position as possible the rest of the season.

Unfortunately Georgia's defense is in a challenging spot now after these injuries. The good news is that the injuries occurred at different positions, so there won't be one group significantly impacted coming out of this game. But seeing three contributors go down on the same side of the ball is still very concerning and will be difficult to overcome.

Up next for Georgia is a road game at Mississippi State. The hope is that these injuries were not serious and all three will be able to play next week, but Georgia fans won't know if they stand a chance at playing until the first injury report comes out on Wednesday.
