Fall camp in Athens is officially underway as Georgia football has now completed their first two practices of the season. Kirby Smart knows how important fall camp is as the work being done now is what will separate Georgia from the rest of the college football world when the season begins later this month.

So what is Smart looking for from his team throughout fall camp? His message to his team this year is quite simple and is the perfect mantra for Georgia to embrace all season long.

"We talk about playing with an edge. Passion, fire, energy, right? PFE is one of the things we're looking for," Smart shared via 247sports.com.

Georgia's mantra separates them from the rest of the country

The college football world seems to care more and more about NIL money with every passing day. That however is not happening at Georgia because of this new mantra Smart has instilled into his team of bringing fire, passion and energy each and every day.

Linebacker Raylen Wilson also spoke about Georgia's new mantra on Thursday and he is showing that he and the rest of the team are buying into what Smart is telling them.

"I feel like everyone is more bought into the fire, passion, and energy thing. Like nowadays in college football, mostly people care more about money, and here we make sure that's not the biggest issue, but we focus on the passion and the love for the game."

Georgia has a chance to be a dangerours team this season if they continue to buy into this message from Smart. So many college football programs out there are filled with players who care more about their NIL paycheck then coming to practice every day to get better. That apparently is not a problem at Georgia.

So if the Bulldogs can bring the fire, passion and energy every day this year, they have a chance to be special.
