Jerry Outhouse is a four-star corner who was in the middle of one of the most normal recruitments of all time. That's at least what Kirby Smart and Georgia thought.
Smart and his staff made sure to prioritize Outhouse like they would any other recruit, and they were even rewarded by receiving an official prediction in their favor. But that unfortunately is when the drama all began.
Jerry Outhouse is keeping Georgia on their toes ahead of his commitment
Outhouse is a top 200 player in the country and the No. 22 corner, so it was a pretty big deal when Georgia was predicted to win his recruitment earlier this week. But just one day after that prediction was made Outhouse took to social media and publicly laughed in response.
That left Georgia fans very confused. Were they actually the leader like this prediction made it seem? Or was this prediction completely wrong? It's impossible to say, but everyone will find out soon.
Outhouse is scheduled to announce his commitment on March 6 at 7:30 pm EST. He will be deciding between Georgia, Texas Tech, UCLA, Florida and Arizona State when he makes his decision.
Typically everyone knows who a recruit is going to commit to on their commitment day, but that is not the case with Outhouse. His reaction to the Georgia prediction is making it seem like they aren't the leader in his recruitment. But that might not actually be the case.
Sometimes recruits react this way to a prediction because they don't want their announcement to be spoiled. So there is a chance he is throwing everyone off on purpose so he can keep an element of surprise in tact.
If that is the case then good for him, but this will be a lot of extra stress for Georgia and Smart that just wasn't needed.
