One thing no college football fan can deny is that Kirby Smart is one of the best college football coaches of all time. Yes there are some coaches who are better than him in the history of the sport, but he clearly is the best coach in the country who is still currently coaching.

There are many reasons why Smart has been able to accomplish that. He is an elite recruiter who is capable of bringing any recruit in the country into the Georgia football program. He also is an elite in-game coach who can make the adjustments needed to win games. But beyond what fans see on the field every Saturday, Smart is a coach who sincerely cares about his players, and that is arguably one of the greatest reasons why he has become the greatest coaches in college football.

Smart has shown that he cares about his players in so many ways, but the latest example was seen this past weekend at the Senior Bowl when he shared a picture on social media with a beautiful caption.

"Loved getting to see our guys in Mobile! Proud of them & excited to see them compete today!"

Kirby Smart always cares about his players

There are many coaches out there who say they care about their players long after they are done playing for them in college. But not many coaches actually live that. Smart is one of the coaches who does, and the above post shows just that.

Sure the caption seems very elementary and something that any coach might say, but Smart actually backs up what the above post says. Not many coaches went to the Senior Bowl to support their players, but Smart took the time out of his busy days of recruiting to be there for them. And he will continue to be there for these players long after their playing days in the NFL are done too.

While Smart will be remembered more for the success he has found on the field, Georgia fans will also remember who he was as a person and how much he cared about his players. And this is just the latest example of that.
