Kirby Smart used one phrase that perfectly describes Georgia

Georgia football has proven one thing throughout this season, and Kirby Smart used the best phrase to describe it.

A common trend has been occurring with Georgia throughout this season. The Bulldogs time and time again fall behind early in games before storming back and (usually) coming away with a win.

That once again was the case this past weekend against Ole Miss as the Rebels offense was dominant through the first three quarters of the game. But in typical Georgia fashion the Bulldogs woke up just in time to come away with a miraculous 43-35 victory.

Kirby Smart would be the first person to say how much he dislikes these slow starts from his team. But at the same time he recognizes how impressive it is that Georgia is able to fight back every single time. And Smart described how great his team is at coming back every single game when he said “we’re hard to kill” during his postgame press conference.

"The one thing we are, we're hard to kill," Smart said via 247sports.com. "We won't go away."

Kirby Smart is impressed with one Georgia football trait

Ole Miss was not the first example of Georgia needing to fight back after a slow start. In fact, this is the fourth time they had to do so this season.

Georgia also fell behind against Tennessee, Alabama and Auburn as well before storming back. UGA was thankfully able to win two of those games, but they did drop one against Alabama. But overall, going 3-1 in these games where Georgia started extremely slow is very impressive.

Obviously everyone would rather see Georgia start fast so they didn’t have to play catch up so often, but having the ability to never give up and fight back is a nice trait to have. But Georgia is going to need to figure out why they start so slow so often because it’s likely just a matter of time until they lose another game like they did to Alabama because of a slow start.

For now Georgia can celebrate being 6-1, but they do have a lot of things to clean up if they are going to continue with their winning ways. And starting fast has to be at the top of the list.
