Georgia football defensive back KJ Bolden has become a star for UGA’s defense this season. He has also quickly become a fan favorite on the field because of how great he has been this season, and that will only grow after his recent session with the media.
Bolden was asked about how much he loves playing for Georgia, so he took the time to answer that question and spoke about how much it means to him to play for the Bulldogs since he is from the state of Georgia.

This is a special statement by itself, but whether Bolden meant to or not this answer will go a long way in helping Georgia win the recruitment of five-star EDGE LaDamion Guyton.

Guyton is a five-star EDGE who is a top 10 player in the 2026 recruiting class. He is from the state of Georgia, but he unfortunately has been committed to Texas Tech for a few months now. But Georgia has not stopped their pursuit of him as he is the recruit they want to add in the 2026 class the most.
Georgia hasn’t had much luck yet in their pursuit of flipping Guyton, but this message from Bolden could really help. Not only is Guyton also from the Peach State, but he even said how UGA was always his dream school growing up. So hearing a current player talk about how amazing it is to live out his dream might just be enough for him to flip to Georgia.
Early signing day begins in less than a month, so Georgia is running out of time. But Bolden’s message could really help Georgia in this recruitment, so hopefully Kirby Smart and his staff will use it to their advantage.
