Lane Kiffin is a very happy man right now. Sure he left Ole Miss in the dust for the opening at LSU, but he undoubtedly would love nothing more than to see his former team go on to win a National Championship.

The next team standing in their way was Georgia, and they put up a very good fight in the Sugar Bowl on Thursday night. Unfortunately for Georgia they came up short, and Kiffin immediately took to social media to brag about it.

Lane Kiffin can't hold back his excitement after Ole Miss beat Georgia

All week long Kiffin wasn't able to keep his mouth shut about this game. First he was begging ESPN to let him in the broadcast booth during the game, and then he was complaining that every member on College GameDay picked Georgia to win. There's obviously nothing wrong with him wanting Ole Miss to win, but he was in the news so much heading into this game to the point that it was clear he was trying to make it about himself.

Kiffin however got the last laugh because the outcome he wanted to occur is what happened. He wanted to see his former team take down mighty Georgia, and that's exactly what they did.

No one should be surprised to see Kiffin take to social media to brag about this win. At the end of the day that is what he does and what he will always do. It wouldn't even be that surprising if he already texted Kiry Smart about the game.

There however is nothing that Georgia can do. They had their chance to shut him up by beating Ole Miss, but they didn't take advantage of their opportunity. Now they have to sit back and deal with whatever Kiffin wants to say, and knowing him he probably has a lot on his mind that he won't be able to hold in.
