Georgia arguably had the most embarrassing exit in the NCAA Tournament this season. There were a few other teams that were blown out as well, but every other team at least showed a little big of life during their loss.
Georgia however may have been the only team to look uninterested from the opening tip and never wake up throughout the course of the game.
Georgia has head back to Athens with their tail between their legs knowing how much they let the program and fans down. The tournament has gone on without them, and while Georgia was sitting at home the team that beat them (Saint Louis) ended up losing a hard fought game to 1-seed Michigan in the second round.
But it was comments made by starting Michigan point guard Elliot Cadeau that somehow made Georgia's early NCAA Tournament exit even worse than it already was.
“Saint Louis has never seen three future NBA All-Stars on the court together at the same time”

Michigan rubs salt in Georgia's wound after mortifying NCAA Tournament loss
After Michigan's second round win, Cadeau basically said that Saint Louis never stood a chance because they haven't played against a team as talented as them all season. That obviously includes Georgia who they just beat one game prior.
Cadeau wasn't taking a direct shot at Georgia, but it sure feels like it. But even if he was taking a jab at Georgia it is 100 percent deserved. And to make it even worse, what he said is true.
Georgia has nowhere near the level of talent that Michigan does. That is one of the biggest reasons why they are dancing into the Sweet 16 and Georgia is already sitting at home. But an even bigger reason why they are still playing and Georgia is done is because they play with a lot of passion and energy every single game.
That is all it takes to win games in March sometimes. Passion and energy is why Cinderella stories happen every year. Unfortunately passion and energy isn't something Georgia had in the tournament this year, and that is why they are at home watching other teams live out their dream.
