A few weeks ago five-star running back Kemon Spell committed to Georgia. Spell is the No. 1 running back in the country and the No. 7 overall player, so it's obvious how big of a commitment this really is.

But there is always a concern that this talented of a player could change their mind and decommit from Georgia in the future. That is especially the case when Spell already decommitted from Penn State earlier in his recruitment.

Spell however sat down with Jeff Sentell and sent a clear message when it comes to his recruitment and commitment to Georgia.

"I am committed committed."

5-star RB Kemon Spell sent Georgia a clear message

Spell made it abundantly clear that he has no intentions of ever backing off of his commitment to Georgia. And that is a big deal because of how great of a player he is.

No on thought Georgia was the leader when Spell took a visit to Athens at the end of January. Spell had already received predictions to commit to Penn State and Notre Dame, so Georgia was thought to be a distant third. But those assumptions in reality were not true because one day after his visit to Athens ended he committed to Georgia.

Since Spell appeared to have a good relationship with both Penn State and Notre Dame, many assumed they they would continue to pursue him even after he committed to Georgia. And while they may still try to recruit him, Spell made it clear in the above interview that he has zero intentions of ever leaving Georgia.

Spell will officially join Georgia's program next year where he will immediately compete for playing time. So while Georgia fans will have to wait a long time still before they ever see him take the field, it is nice that this is a commitment no one will have to worry about for the next year.
