Two months ago Georgia earned a commitment from five-star quarterback Jayden Wade. According to 247Sports he is the No. 1 overall player in the 2028 recruiting class, so that commitment is a huge deal for the Bulldogs.
But with two years remaining in his recruitment anything is still possible. No Georgia fan needs to be told what could happen after losing Jared Curtis's commitment at the last second last year, and the last thing anyone wants is for that disaster to repeat. But up to this point Wade has remained loyal to Georgia, and he even took a visit to Athens this weekend to reaffirm his commitment to UGA.

5-star Jayden Wade is enjoying his time in Athens
Wade has only been committed to Georgia for two and a half months, but he has been a very vocal commit the entire time. He has expressed his love for Georgia multiple times on social media, including after they beat Alabama in the SEC Championship game. These messages from Wade are huge for Georgia because it shows how locked in he is with the program and that there is nothing they need to worry about right now.
Wade's commitment is extremely crucial for Georgia to keep. So far they have had a lot of issues recruiting a quarterback in the 2027 class as their top target is favoring an SEC rival. If those struggles continue then Georgia needs to keep Wade in their class or else the future of their quarterback room will be in serious trouble.
Thankfully Wade appears to be 100 percent locked in with Georgia, and that is seen during his visit to Athens this weekend. Now the hope is that this will continue for the next two years, but as it stands today Georgia is in as good of a spot with Wade as they can possible be.
