The recruiting cycle for the 2027 class is beginning to ramp up, and Georgia unsurprisingly is going after some of the top targets in the country. Four-star tight end Brock Williams fits that description to perfection as he is the No. 2 tight end in the country.
Georgia has prioritized Williams for a long time now and so far they have remained one of the top schools in his recruitment. His recruitment still has a long ways to go, but the Bulldogs will have a chance to cement themseleves as his No. 1 school when he visits Athens this weekend to watch Georgia take on Ole Miss.

4-star TE announces upcoming visit to Georgia
As mentioned, Williams is one of the top tight ends in the 2027 recruiting class as Rivals has him as their No. 2 player at the position. On top of that, he is the No. 1 player from his home state of Illinois and the No. 33 overall player in the country.
Last week Williams announced his three finalists, and Georgia thankfully made the cut. Also included in his top three were the Texas Longhorns and Ohio State Buckeyes.
There is no indication that Williams will announce a final decision anytime soon, but the fact that he will be visiting Georgia this weekend is a huge deal. This gives Georgia an opportunity to prove why they should be his top school right now and why they are a much better fit than the Longhorns and Buckeyes.
It will be interesting to see if any intel comes out about Williams' visit after this weekend. While it would be nice to hear Georgia made a big impression on him, his recruitment likely will go well into next year. So both Texas and Ohio State likely will have future opportunities to win this recruitment as well, but it would be nice for Georgia to cement themselves as Williams' leader after this weekend.
