Tight end is one position that Georgia always seems to recruit at a high level. Just last year Georgia earned a commitment from two of the top six tight ends in the country, and there are no signs of them slowing down in the 2027 class either.
Brock Williams is the next tight end that Georgia is targeting, and he unsurprisingly is one of the top tight ends in the 2027 recruiting class. The Bulldogs have had his attention throughout his recruitment, but this week Georgia ramped up the pressure on him by having Todd Hartley conduct an in-home visit with him.

4-star TE is feeling the love from Georgia
Williams is the No. 38 overall player in the country according to 247Sports. He also is the No. 2 tight end in the 2027 recruiting class and the No. 3 overall player from his home state of Illinois.
Williams has already announced who his top three schools are, and Georgia did make the cut. Texas and Ohio State also made his top three which shows how much of a challenge it will be for Georgia to win this recruitment.
But Georgia has found a lot of success recruiting tight ends over the past few years thanks in large part to the work Hartley has done. He has proven to be one of Georgia's top recruiters on Kirby Smart's staff, so if he is putting this much effort into recruiting Williams then there is a good chance UGA will come out on top.
Williams isn't expected to commit anytime soon and will likely take an official visit to all three programs this summer. But Georgia is in a great spot with him right now, and they certainly have as good of a chance as anyone to come out on top in this recruitment.
